Cerberus Tech has launched Livelink Studio, a cloud-based live-production and master-control environment built on its Livelink control plane and the Matrox ORIGIN asynchronous media framework. The commercial model is usage based: teams can start a complete production for an event, stop it afterwards and reuse the same template later.
The integrated toolset includes programme and preview switching, native audio mixing, overlays, lower thirds, tickers and downstream keying. It also provides a multiviewer, recording, routing, salvos, test signals and a media library using local or Amazon S3 storage. Operators can work from one screen or split controls across remote and on-site roles.
Contribution options include native Livelink and SRT ingest with automated workflow provisioning, plus NDI inputs for existing environments. Real-time SRT telemetry, stream diagnostics and Grafana integration expose feed health. Cerberus says linked A and B Livelink instances can run simultaneously with independent control and failover, while a single source feeds both production chains.
The launch material does not disclose supported raster formats, channel limits, graphics engine details, cloud regions, measured latency or operating cost. It also does not identify early customers or publish results from a completed on-air production. The upcoming demonstration will therefore be important for assessing restart times, failover continuity, operator responsiveness and the limits of the pay-as-you-go model.
