Haivision has integrated its live contribution ecosystem with Chyron LIVE, creating a direct camera-to-cloud path for sports, news and event production. Chyron LIVE provides switching, PRIME graphics, data display, remote commentary and illustrated replay in an AWS-native environment.
Supported contribution sources include Haivision Falkon, Pro and Air mobile transmitters as well as Makito encoders and decoders. The combined workflow can carry feeds over cellular networks, public internet, satellite and other IP links without requiring a separate contribution hand-off before the cloud production layer.
The integration connects two operational stages that are often purchased and monitored separately. A documented direct input path can reduce setup friction for distributed productions and may make it easier to scale a show from a small field contribution to a fuller cloud control room.
The partners have not published an interoperability matrix, supported codec profiles, measured glass-to-glass latency or failover behaviour. Pricing and general availability are also not stated. Broadcasters should therefore validate stream recovery, tally, return video and audio synchronisation before using the workflow on air.
