Grass Valley has outlined an IBC2026 live-production showcase built around closer integration between its established control surfaces and the AMPP software platform. K-Frame production switching and the Maverik X panel are being connected directly to AMPP-based workflows rather than treated as a separate hardware island.
The demonstration also includes LiveTouch X replay and AMPP Commentator, a browser application for remote commentary. Grass Valley names Calrec ImPulseV, Zoom ISOcloud, NDI and Flowics among the partner technologies in the wider workflow, indicating that the pitch is as much about orchestration as individual products.
Why it matters
Production teams increasingly need one control model across fixed galleries, remote operators and elastic software resources. A shared environment can reduce handoffs and duplicated configuration, but the operational value will depend on latency, failover, licensing and how consistently third-party functions are monitored.

The announcement describes an IBC demonstration. It does not provide a complete interoperability matrix, measured end-to-end latency or commercial terms for every component.
