EVS will give IBC2026 visitors a first look at a software-defined replay server designed to complement its existing LiveCeption hardware portfolio. LSM-VIA will also control a broader set of production tasks, including replay, highlights and camera robotics from a familiar operator interface.

The wider demonstration includes T-Motion robotics linked through Choreon and Cerebrum, AI-assisted tracking and officiating tools, VIA MAP newsroom and social-publishing workflows, and a preview of the next Neuron processing platform. EVS says the new Neuron generation targets four times the processing density of the current platform.

Why it matters

Replay has remained one of the most appliance-dependent parts of premium live production. A software-defined option can make capacity easier to allocate and scale, while coordinated robotics and orchestration can reduce the number of isolated control surfaces in a production.

EVS has not published host requirements, channel density, latency or release timing for the replay server or new Neuron platform. The four-times density figure and workflow claims remain vendor targets until tested in production configurations.
