Evertz has introduced BRAVO-BLADE as an embedded production resource for ENX and NEXX routing platforms. It combines playback, scene control, replay and output creation inside the infrastructure layer.
The system can generate multiple program versions, including vertical outputs for digital platforms. Evertz also lists ClipIQ, Highlight Factory and Quick Shot as AI-assisted tools for identifying and assembling content around live events.
Why it matters
Embedding production functions in a routing core can reduce signal hops and let a facility allocate processing where it is needed. Support for simultaneous broadcast and social formats addresses a real operational demand, especially in sports.
What still needs checking
The release does not quantify AI accuracy, supported sports, operator workload, output density or the licensing model for each production feature.
