TVUP has introduced Gen9 of its streaming platform with multi-tenant support. An operator can run several television brands from one platform instance, using separate presentation and service configurations without duplicating the underlying stack.
The consumer experience adds AI-assisted recommendations, trending and ranking functions, plus a multi-channel programme guide with seven-day catch-up. The aim is to combine linear navigation with personalised discovery instead of forcing viewers into separate live and on-demand interfaces.
Advertising is integrated across live channels, FAST services, video on demand and display inventory. TVUP says a branded deployment can be launched in less than a week, citing its Tivify service as an operating reference.
The announcement does not define the work included in the one-week deployment claim, the isolation between tenants, recommendation data controls or supported ad-decisioning standards. Those details determine whether consolidation lowers cost without creating operational or privacy risk. Migration of existing subscribers, entitlements and viewing history is also not addressed.
