Schibsted Media has installed DHD.audio mixers for a dual-location sports-production workflow. An RX2 console and XC3 core operate at the company’s Oslo headquarters, while a TX2 touchscreen mixer and XS3 core form the transportable remote system.
The setup was created for 2026 football coverage, including match buildup and a separate second-screen programme with expert reactions. Schibsted says the remote TX2 and XS3 can be controlled over IP from Oslo, allowing a central engineer to reach the mobile audio environment.
Separating a compact field surface from a headquarters core can reduce the crew and equipment sent to each site while retaining access to experienced operators. It also puts network quality, monitoring, talkback and failure recovery directly into the audio design rather than treating connectivity as an external service.
The report confirms the mixer and core models and remote-control path. It does not publish codec, bitrate, round-trip latency, redundancy, local fallback, channel counts, intercom integration or whether programme audio is mixed entirely in Oslo.
