Blackmagic Design has released DaVinci Resolve 21.1.1 with changes to the trim editor, audio decoding and Fusion-effect handling. Editors can use additional viewer actions while trimming audio clips and multiple edit points, reducing the need to leave the trim context for common adjustments.

On Windows 11, the application adds decoding for USAC audio. Clips with several Fusion effects receive improved controls, and the release also addresses issues affecting editing, colour, Fusion, Fairlight, scripting and media handling across the free and Studio editions.

A maintenance release matters in shared post environments because a small behaviour change can affect keyboard-driven editing, interchange or repeatable automation. Facilities should still validate project databases, plug-ins, GPU drivers, control surfaces and delivery presets before changing a production image.

The public notes do not provide regression-test coverage, performance benchmarks, a complete resolved-issue list by platform or confirmation that third-party plug-ins certified for 21.1 have been retested against 21.1.1.
