Playhouse Post has opened a refurbished 12,000-square-foot film and high-end television facility in Soho. The site includes a 4K DCI review theatre, two Dolby Vision 4K HDR grading suites using Baselight and DaVinci Resolve, two Flame rooms and three additional 4K HDR finishing suites.

Audio provision includes Pro Tools environments for 5.1 and Dolby Atmos work. The technical backbone uses CAT6a and fibre connectivity with two petabytes of storage, including about 300TB of NVMe capacity for demanding shared workloads.

Bringing grading, finishing, sound and client review into one facility can reduce handoff friction, but the operational benefit depends on consistent colour transforms, room calibration, media naming and access control across departments. HDR quality control becomes especially important when several suites can touch the same programme.

The source lists room functions and headline capacity but does not publish network topology, storage performance, backup tiers or calibration reports. It confirms a substantial rebuild without providing enough information to compare throughput or resilience with another post facility.
