MoviePro 10 is a ground-up rewrite of the long-running iPhone camera application. Its three capture environments are Auto for fast shooting, Pro for manual control and monitoring, and Dual Capture for recording two supported phone cameras together.
Pro mode places ISO, shutter, white balance, tint and focus alongside luma, parade, waveform and vectorscope displays. Supported hardware can record ProRes, Apple Log 2 and ProRes RAW, while audio tools include USB microphones, level control, live meters and headphone monitoring where the device permits it.
A second iPhone, an iPad or an Apple-silicon Mac can monitor and control the camera over shared Wi-Fi or a personal hotspot. Version 10.0.4 also improves clean HDMI, thermal behaviour, remote layouts and support for Apple's Pro Video Storage path.
Hardware support varies by phone and operating-system capability, and the publisher provides no measured heat, battery, latency or sustained-recording results. Capture is free in all modes, while remote control remains the paid feature.
