MLB Network has turned its Secaucus facility into a hub for localized postseason coverage delivered to JioStar in India and the BBC in the United Kingdom. Domestic game feeds from national rights holders arrive at the hub, where teams create clean, market-specific programmes for onward delivery.
The JioStar production uses BitFire's cloud infrastructure, with play-by-play in New Jersey and analysts contributing from India. Engineers provide an advanced cut for commentary timing alongside a line cut that preserves the presenter's ability to read the intended graphics.
BBC coverage is produced through a traditional Secaucus control room. Running the two approaches in parallel lets MLB Network choose the production model around each partner while reusing coordination, incoming feeds and operational knowledge at the hub.
The report does not quantify contribution latency, synchronization offsets, cloud capacity, redundancy, transport formats or comparative cost. MLB Network also coordinates closely with the originating FOX and TNT trucks, so the remote shows depend on upstream source availability.
