Canadian mobile-production company Mesh Broadcast Services has installed a 36-fader Calrec Argo M console in its Eclipse flagship truck. The 40-foot unit now covers roughly ten to twelve sports and entertainment events each month.

The truck retains a Dante backbone and adds MADI and analogue options around the Argo platform. A DirectOut Prodigy MX bridges MADI and Dante, while three Calrec Type R analogue I/O boxes are housed in flight cases for use as portable field interfaces.

Compact I/O matters because Mesh sometimes parks as far as 1,000 feet from a host position. Moving field boxes closer to sources reduces large analogue looms, while card slots and multiple transports let the truck adapt between arenas, football, esports and mountain-bike coverage. The console first worked a six-week Vancouver fan-festival contract.

The deployment confirms equipment and event use but not channel count, network topology, PTP design, stagebox redundancy, fibre transport, power protection or how the Dante and MADI domains are monitored during failure.
