Marshall Electronics will show a broad PTZ and point-of-view camera lineup at NAB Show New York. The range includes the CV625-TB, a UHD 60p PTZ camera with 25x optical zoom and automatic tracking, and the weather-resistant CV574-WP UHD network camera for exposed installations.
Full-HD options include the CV520 and CV320, which combine IP transport with 3G-SDI, while the CV355-27X provides a 27x optical zoom in a compact POV form. The CV612-TBI adds 12x optical zoom and tracking for smaller automated production spaces.
Marshall is also positioning RCP-PLUS as a bridge between established and networked camera estates. The controller can address seven cameras over RS-485, 63 over VISCA-over-IP, or up to 70 when both control paths are used. That mixed approach may help facilities add IP cameras without replacing every serial-controlled unit.
The published information confirms interfaces, zoom ranges and intended features, but it does not provide tracking accuracy, low-light measurements, latency or pricing for every model. Productions should validate those characteristics with the actual lenses, lighting and network conditions they plan to use.
