LiveU is highlighting direct camera-file transfer as part of its CABSAT 2026 IP-video demonstrations. The camera-mounted TX1 is designed for supported Sony cameras and can send recorded files through bonded LiveU connectivity from the shooting position.
A Sony RXS Connection License extends the idea to supported Sony cameras and LiveU field units beginning with the LU300S. Files can move directly to a Sony PWA-RXS receiver, reducing the need to remove media or introduce a laptop solely for transfer.
News and sports teams can use that path to deliver high-quality recorded clips while the same field connectivity supports live work. A direct workflow may also preserve camera metadata and create a more repeatable destination than ad-hoc file-sharing tools.
LiveU has not published the complete camera matrix, transfer rates, resume behaviour, checksum process, metadata mapping or performance while live transmission is active. The CABSAT preview establishes the integration but not its behaviour on constrained networks.
