LensStory has opened a virtual production and broadcast studio in Melbourne. The facility combines an LED volume, green-screen production, real-time 3D rendering, camera tracking, cinema cameras and broadcast infrastructure.

At its launch event, the studio moved between a virtual newsroom, sports environment, outdoor location, branded stage and performance setting. That range demonstrates the intended operating model: a single tracked space that can change presentation context without rebuilding a complete physical set.

For broadcasters and content teams, the practical value depends on repeatable calibration and colour management. Camera tracking, LED processing, render timing, lighting and keying must remain aligned as the room changes from one programme type to another.

The announcement confirms the facility and its main capabilities but does not identify the LED processor, rendering platform, camera-tracking vendor, stage dimensions or supported frame rates. It also does not publish latency or colour-calibration results, so the launch should not be read as a complete technical specification.
