Lenovo has introduced the ThinkVision P27UL-40, a 27-inch professional monitor built around an inkjet-printed OLED panel. It combines UHD resolution with a refresh rate up to 120Hz and is marketed for colour-sensitive content-creation work.

The display also functions as a Thunderbolt dock, allowing video, data and peripheral connections to share the workstation link. OLED technology can provide strong black performance and per-pixel light control, while inkjet printing is intended to support efficient panel manufacture.

For editors, graphic designers and review stations, a high-refresh UHD screen can serve both timeline work and motion evaluation. That does not automatically make it a broadcast reference monitor: reliable grading also depends on calibration stability, signal formats, uniformity and external I/O.

The article does not provide independent Delta E, peak luminance, sustained brightness, uniformity, burn-in or HDR tracking results. It also does not establish SDI support or reference-grade monitoring certification, so facilities should treat it as a workstation display until measured.
