The International Swimming League has appointed Gravity Media as production partner for its All-Star Match on December 19 at the London Aquatics Centre. The two-hour event brings four regional teams into a head-to-head format in which every race contributes to the result.

Gravity Media plans underwater and specialty cameras, robotic units at the starting blocks and finish line, and rail systems capable of moving around the pool deck at up to 13 metres per second. Three-axis gyro-stabilised robotic cameras are described as 8K-ready.

Optional data integration can place live tracking, athlete profiles and augmented-reality graphics into the programme. Combining precise race coverage with moving perspectives and timely data could make the event easier to follow, but synchronization and safety are demanding when cameras travel quickly near athletes and officials.

The production will draw on Gravity Media’s OB fleet and its 6,000-square-metre Italian production centre. The partners do not disclose the final camera count, transmission format, remote-production split, data supplier, distribution rights, redundancy or whether the optional AR package has been commissioned.
