Netflix has selected IMG as production partner for its coverage of the 2027 FIFA Women's World Cup in Brazil. IMG will produce all 64 matches for viewers in the United States and Canada, where Netflix holds the rights.

The production scope includes English and Spanish services for the US, English and French services for Canada, and more than 100 hours of studio programming. IMG will also support Netflix's live coverage of the final draw on 11 December 2026.

The scale matters because the tournament will be Netflix's live football debut. Multiple language services, match feeds, studio output and platform delivery have to stay aligned across a month-long event running from 24 June to 25 July 2027.

The announcement establishes the production partner and editorial volume but does not describe host-feed integration, facilities, contribution paths, latency targets, redundancy or stream formats. Those technical decisions remain open and will determine how closely the service resembles a conventional rights-holder broadcast operation.
