ST Engineering iDirect is presenting a satellite-network architecture that joins multi-orbit ground control, AI-assisted operations and a migration path toward 5G non-terrestrial networks. Its Intuition ground system uses a cloud-native design intended to manage services across different orbits.

Foresight places network operations, service delivery, bandwidth management and AI-driven analysis in one environment. Recent updates add governance, operational controls and accelerated onboarding so operators can supervise AI-driven changes rather than allowing automation to modify a live network without policy boundaries.

The pilot INT3000 user-equipment modem supports both 5G NR-NTN and DVB-S2X/MRC waveforms. That dual approach is intended to bridge existing satellite services and native 5G connectivity while a cloud-based gNodeB links satellite access to a 5G core.
