Host Broadcast Services used TVU Networks infrastructure to operate Match Buddy across 104 matches, 16 venues and three host countries during a 39-day football tournament. All five HBS media partners shared the production platform.

Each partner could select Team A, Team B or Versus views, choose among four graphic layouts and apply tournament or partner branding. Real-time data such as possession, distance covered and pass accuracy was layered with the selected camera composition. Dedicated APIs assembled those elements when an instance was deployed.

TVU Producer environments were preconfigured in different regions, with a primary and backup kept live for automatic failover. Remote-commentary connectivity fed the workflow underneath. This approach reduces manual setup across repeated matches and makes a customized service a defined combination of media, graphics, data and branding resources.

The case study confirms event scale and redundancy design but does not disclose cloud regions, recovery times, stream latency, source formats, data synchronization, operator counts or incidents. TVU and HBS are the principal sources, and an independent availability record is not published.
