Evoto 8.0 extends the company’s portrait-processing tools into video editing. A plugin now runs core face and skin adjustments directly in DaVinci Resolve Studio 19 or later and Adobe Premiere Pro 25.6 or later on macOS and Windows.
Video functions include tracked hair shine, conservative teeth whitening, facial-fullness adjustment and reference-based colour matching. The plugin imports MP4, MOV and M4V with H.264 or H.265 support, while export is limited to MP4 or MOV in H.264. That output restriction matters for finishing pipelines that require mezzanine codecs or preserved camera originals.
Desktop 8.0 also adds story-based culling, reusable workflows from import through delivery and an enterprise SDK for recurring steps. A redesigned home screen brings tethered shooting, workflow controls and an Asset Hub into one interface. The marketplace launches with more than 400 presets, looks and background assets.
Availability is confirmed, but the report does not provide tracking-accuracy tests, render speed, colour-management behaviour or information about how source media is handled by cloud services. Enterprise teams should also verify whether automated retouching decisions can be audited and whether marketplace assets carry rights suitable for broadcast use.
