The European Programmatic TV Initiative has published six proposals for making premium television inventory easier to buy, measure and operate across European markets. The work responds to campaigns passing through multiple platforms whose delivery records, signals and identifiers do not always reconcile.

EPTVI proposes a common impression-reporting structure across linear and IP television, a signals framework for what bids require and why they fail, and creative-ID interoperability that preserves an originating reference through the supply chain. It also addresses frequency caps, ad-pod rules and competitive separation across intermediaries.

Two governance proposals extend the role of national Joint Industry Committees and establish shared commercial principles through a Premium Programmatic Partners programme. The approach builds on existing systems rather than defining a new certification scheme or one mandatory standard.

Stage Three will test reporting, signals, creative IDs and frequency controls in real markets. No conformance suite, implementation schedule, API schema, adoption commitment or measured reduction in reconciliation work is yet available.
