The An Evening with Emerson, Lake and Palmer tour is using Marshall CV620, CV730-BHN and CV625-TW PTZ cameras as part of a performance that combines live footage with archival video. Drummer Carl Palmer appears on stage while recordings of Keith Emerson and Greg Lake are presented on large LED walls.

Production manager Steve Supparits and Resurrection Studios first added a CV620 when the tour began in 2022 and have expanded the camera package. Compact robotic heads can be placed where a conventional operator would obstruct sightlines or alter the theatrical illusion.

The technical challenge is not simply covering a concert. Live camera composition, screen playback and stage action must preserve believable relationships with archival performers whose framing and timing cannot change. Repeatable PTZ presets and remotely adjusted angles can help adapt the show to different venues.

The case study confirms the camera models and creative objective but does not publish camera count, control system, lens settings, signal transport, shading, playback synchronization, latency or the method used to align live and archival imagery.
