DJI has issued two rounds of firmware for the Osmo Pocket 4 and dual-lens Pocket 4P. Both cameras gain Camera Cloud Service uploads to Google Drive, OneDrive or a user-operated NAS, plus 10-bit D-Log recording in slow-motion modes.

The Pocket 4 can now record D-Log slow motion up to 4K/240p and adds a 10-bit HDR video mode. Earlier firmware added Frame Tracking, FrameTap remote support, smarter gimbal behaviour and automatic fill-light adjustment. The 4P adds revised v2.0 Rec.709 LUTs and 45-degree diagonal joystick moves.

Direct transfer and remote composition are useful for fast field workflows, but they also introduce dependency on regional service availability, mobile-device compatibility and disciplined firmware matching across camera, handle, light, microphone and FrameTap accessories.

DJI does not publish downloads for every firmware version in the report, and D-Log 2 remains unavailable in slow motion. User reports of simultaneous FrameTap and microphone operation on the 4P are undocumented by DJI and should not be treated as a supported production feature.
