4Wall built and operated three LED environments for Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day: a newsroom, the Wardex command centre and a 360-degree car process. Absen panels supplied the display surfaces, Brompton handled LED processing and Disguise servers provided playback and real-time compositing.
Wardex incorporated ten LED surfaces into the scenic build, including five walls and five ceiling sections. Four Disguise VX 4+ servers drove multi-4K playback through ten Brompton Tessera SX40 processors and 22 XD distribution units. Scenes and beats were mapped to tracks and sections in the Disguise timeline so one programmer could run the active setup while another prepared later cues.
The newsroom used 28 Absen PR1.9 tiles at 1,792 by 1,024 pixels. The car process expanded to a 132-by-16-foot main wall and 24-foot-square ceiling with four more VX 4+ servers. Image-based lighting and a consistent colour pipeline kept screen content, illumination and camera capture aligned.
The technical account is a joint supplier case study. It documents equipment and workflow but not calibration tolerances, latency, failure incidents or the amount of post work avoided. Those figures remain necessary before generalising the approach to other stages.
