German media service provider Crossvertise has launched a self-service planner for addressable television campaigns delivered through HbbTV. A buyer selects a target region, budget, campaign period and audience and receives recommended inventory, estimated impressions and cost per thousand contacts.

The interface maps the number of reachable addressable-TV devices and can propose alternative settings when the requested combination is not practical. Age and gender targeting are available, and creative can be uploaded during booking. Campaigns start at €5,000.

The format is SwitchIn XXL, an L-shaped banner appearing three seconds after a channel change on compatible connected televisions. Because the format is graphical, a local business does not need to produce a conventional television commercial. Crossvertise cites 25.4 million addressable HbbTV households in Germany at the end of 2024.

The source does not disclose broadcaster inventory, device matching methodology, consent flow, measurement supplier, reporting latency, creative validation or how estimates compare with delivered reach.
