Big Blue Marble has added live multiview channels to Cloud Video Kit using AWS Elemental Dynamic Multiview. Viewers can choose feeds and arrange them on screen while the service returns one composed HLS or DASH stream.

Possible inputs include alternate camera angles, simultaneous games or separate channels. Layouts are assembled on demand at delivery time, so the provider says cost scales with the encoded source streams rather than the number of possible layout combinations. One DRM key protects the composed stream on the end device.

That architecture can simplify sports and event applications because the client receives a conventional adaptive stream instead of synchronizing and decoding several feeds locally. Avoiding a custom SDK may also broaden device coverage, although the actual playback matrix still depends on standard HLS or DASH support and the chosen DRM system.

The release confirms the service model but does not publish maximum inputs, output resolutions, layout latency, encoder alignment requirements, regional availability or measured cloud cost. Independent tests are needed to determine how quickly a viewer can change layouts during a live event.
