Sohonet has introduced ClearView Rush, an iPad-first review platform for film and television production. The interface is designed to present cuts, reels and shots with the slate and production context required by creative teams away from a fixed review room.

Editorial decisions and metadata remain associated with the media. Users can filter dailies by camera, identify circled takes, navigate by scene and move to the current version without a separate ingest or duplicate upload for each review step.

That continuity addresses a persistent remote-review problem: the image is often available, but version status and editorial intent are fragmented across messages and systems. Sohonet says the platform uses open standards, which could make it easier to connect review with existing production and post-production tools.

The announcement does not specify codecs, colour-management behaviour, latency, offline operation, identity controls or encryption architecture. Those details are essential for productions handling unreleased material and for reviewers who need confidence that an iPad view represents the approved creative source.
