Blackmagic Design has released Cloud Store 2.1.1 for every model in its shared-storage range. The stated change is support for macOS 27 Golden Gate, accompanied by general performance and stability improvements.

The compatibility addition is operationally relevant where edit, ingest and finishing workstations mount the same Cloud Store volumes. Facilities can now include the appliance software in qualification plans for Apple's new operating system instead of holding storage clients on an older Mac release by default.

Blackmagic lists macOS 26 Tahoe and macOS 27 Golden Gate or later as the supported Mac baseline. Windows support remains Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11 or later, so the release continues to cover mixed-platform production environments.

No change log identifies the repaired faults, performance gains, protocol changes or upgrade caveats. Engineering teams should still test mount persistence, permissions, sync tasks and sustained throughput with their own clients before a facility-wide operating-system rollout.
