Auralithic has released Audorama 2.0 for macOS, describing it as a vision-aware digital audio workstation for cinematic sound design. The application analyses picture for movement, footsteps, discrete events and environmental context.

Detected events become editable objects on a timeline, where the sound designer can change timing, select material and reject inappropriate suggestions. The approach treats machine analysis as a spotting and assembly aid rather than a finished mix generator.

The application is intended to keep core analysis local and supports workflows that include multiple performers, picture-derived visual mapping and export formats used by production audio. Surround output and loudness management are also part of the wider workflow.

The release is currently aimed at Apple Silicon systems, while Windows support remains under development. The report does not publish benchmark timings, model provenance, detection accuracy or a compatibility matrix for interchange with major editorial and mixing systems. Facilities should therefore test a representative reel before scheduling the application into a delivery-critical session.
