First Baptist Nashville has rebuilt its production communications around a Clear-Com Arcadia Central Station as part of a wider audio, video and lighting renovation led by Mankin Media. The work covers a 1,200-seat sanctuary whose physical character had to be preserved.
Arcadia acts as the common hub for HelixNet digital-partyline beltpacks, a HelixNet Remote Station and FreeSpeak II wireless beltpacks. The combined system gives fixed positions and roaming production staff access to one coordinated communications environment for weekly worship and special events.
The technical value is consolidation. Wired and wireless talkback no longer need to be planned as separate islands, while the central station gives the church a path to add users and production complexity without redesigning every endpoint. This matters in a space where permanent cabling and visible hardware are constrained.
The case study does not disclose channel counts, wireless coverage design, antenna placement, redundancy, recording integration, network topology, commissioning tests or how the system behaves during a central-station failure.
