First Baptist Nashville has deployed a Clear-Com intercom system as part of a wider audio, video and lighting renovation led by Mankin Media. The system is centred on an Arcadia Central Station and covers production work across the church’s 1,200-seat sanctuary.
Wired positions use HelixNet Digital Partyline beltpacks and a HelixNet Remote Station, while FreeSpeak II beltpacks give mobile crew members wireless access. Bringing both operating modes into Arcadia gives the team a common communications layer for weekly services, special events and future production expansion.
The project matters beyond the worship market because it shows a compact venue using the same hybrid-intercom pattern found in studios and outside-broadcast work: fixed stations for repeatable roles, wireless endpoints for floor movement and a central routing point that can grow with the production. The stated design goal was to modernise operations without visually disrupting the historic room.
The report confirms the installed components and production scope, but it does not publish wireless coverage measurements, channel counts, redundancy design or before-and-after incident data. Clear-Com and the integrator are the sources for performance claims, so real-world resilience remains to be independently quantified.
