AMP VISUAL TV is expanding its Riedel-based live-production infrastructure with three new production vehicles and 60 flyaway boxes. The wider estate includes more than 350 MediorNet devices, over 20 Artist intercom nodes, 550 Bolero wireless beltpacks and 15 SimplyLive servers.
MediorNet provides distributed signal transport and processing, Artist and Bolero cover communications, and SimplyLive supports replay and production functions. Using the same product families across trucks and portable kits can make crews and spare inventory more transferable between jobs.
The architecture is also designed to link resources across several vehicles. AMP VISUAL TV says roughly a dozen production units were networked for the Commonwealth Games, showing how a large event can be assembled from interoperable modules instead of one oversized truck.
The vendor case study confirms fleet scale and named components. It does not publish the new vehicles’ complete I/O, network topology, bandwidth, redundancy, ST 2110 or MADI/AES67 boundaries, staffing savings or availability metrics. Ten years of use is meaningful operational evidence, but it is not an independent comparison with other platforms.
