Airties has added cybersecurity functions to its Connectivity Experience Management Platform for broadband operators. The design uses the home or small-business router as a security enforcement point, avoiding a separate agent on every television, streamer, camera or IoT device.
A baseline tier covers malicious-site blocking, content filters, parental controls and advertising or tracker blocking. A more advanced layer watches network, device and application behaviour for router exploitation, port scans, brute-force attempts and botnet command-and-control traffic. Suspected devices can be blocked or quarantined.
Small-business functions include Ethernet-port blocking, client isolation and different policies for individual SSIDs. Converged operators can extend protection to mobile devices outside the home network, while third-party threat intelligence and endpoint tools remain part of the wider design.
Airties does not publish detection accuracy, false-positive rates, supported router list, response latency, data-retention boundaries or independent penetration-test results. Its planned Agentic Shield remains under development.
