Adobe has published compatibility guidance for macOS 27 Golden Gate, identifying application versions that have completed testing and warning that remaining products are still being evaluated. The list is intended to be updated as additional releases qualify.
For video and audio teams, the broader version 27 requirements are equally important: Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder and Audition on Mac require Apple silicon and macOS 15 or later. Intel Macs can remain on the version 26 generation but cannot move to the new major line.
A compatibility list is not proof that every plugin, codec, capture interface, control surface or shared-storage client is ready. Facilities normally depend on an ecosystem wider than Creative Cloud, so the operating-system decision still needs vendor and project-specific qualification.
Adobe has not declared universal macOS 27 support across all applications or third-party extensions. Production systems should preserve a tested rollback path, verify drivers and plugins, and avoid treating an application launch as validation of ingest, export, colour, audio and collaboration workflows.
